If the answer is J.J. Abrams at the helm, pseudo-science fueling the

11. ''Hot n Cold,'' Katy Perry
A catchy song dipped in '80s neon/synth goodness about a man so up and down you'd think he was going through withdrawal due to lack of drugs. Ms. Perry definitely has another surefire hit on her hands. LK

Since we're discussing a love for sartorial splendor, high-fashion Wednesdays are on my must list. First, the delicious superficiality of ANTM at 8 p.m. and then the oh-so-subtle product placements of Project Runway. I hope Heidi used the Bluefly accessory wall thoughtfully when picking out her Emmy-hosting ensembles. Dennis N.

15. sTORI telling, by Tori Spelling
Shhhh. We might have to keep this our little secret, but I'm totally hooked on Tori Spelling's book sTORI telling! I just finished it last night. It took me two days to read I couldn't put it down! It's fantastic! I never thought I would say it, but it's actually one of the most enjoyable books I've read in a long time. And, yes, I was slightly embarrassed to read it on the train. But there's no getting around it! The book jacket has a big picture of Tori on the cover, and the book jacket comes off to reveal...a bright pink book. (For the record, I had to cover it.) But I will say this there's a line of about 15 people I know waiting to read it after I'm done. Definitely on my DL Must List. NineDaves
