Heather Locklear Arrested on DUI Count

Heather Locklear was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of a prescription medication near Santa Barbara, Calif. on Saturday afternoon. The Associated Press reports that the former Melrose Place star was stopped by an officer after a resident reported seeing her leave a parking lot driving erratically. The officer spotted Locklear parked on a state highway, blocking a lane of traffic, and after speaking to her, deterimined she was under the influence. She was taken to the police station, tested for drugs and alcohol, and booked for driving under the influence of a prescription medication. She was later released.

Locklear spent time in a medical clinic over the summer to treat anxiety and depression. Last year, the actress divorced Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora after 11 years of marriage.
