Janet Jackson was rushed to the hospital after falling ''suddenly ill'' during sound check shortly before a concert in Montreal, according to a statement released by her publicist. The statement said the singer is being monitored at the hospital and hopes to reschedule the show, but no other information is being released at this time. The 42-year-old Jackson is on a North American tour. Her latest album, Discipline, was released earlier this year to generally lackluster reviews.
