You could call The Last Stop the Rockies Horror Picture Show: In this stolid yet refreshingly believable direct-to-video thriller, 10 people get snowed in at a Colorado mountaintop motel; one of them is a bank robber who lethally slashes anyone who gets in the way. As the young cop who encounters his long-lost ex-girlfriend while working the case, the wooden Beach seems like little more than a placeholder. Poor Jurgen Prochnow (Das Boot) — who plays the innkeeper — must have really needed the paycheck. C+
