Mariah Carey doesn't miss one triumph-over-adversity cliche in the wannabe inspirational clip for ''Can't Take That Away (Mariah's Theme)''. She gooses the music with sound bites from real kids who've overcome everything disease, poverty, teasing. The disingenuousness comes early, as the kids talk less about their problems than about how Mariah's song got them through it all. The singer caps the self-involvement by shedding a tear as studied and cold as the crystalized crying in a Man Ray photograph. C
