Mariah Carey doesn't miss one triumph-over-adversity cliche in the wannabe inspirational clip for ''Can't Take That Away (Mariah's Theme)''. She gooses the music with sound bites from real kids who've overcome everything — disease, poverty, teasing. The disingenuousness comes early, as the kids talk less about their problems than about how Mariah's song got them through it all. The singer caps the self-involvement by shedding a tear as studied and cold as the crystalized crying in a Man Ray photograph. C
