The ABBA Generation

EW's GRADE
B+

Details Lead Performance: A-Teens; Genre: Pop

Think of The ABBA Generation as old aquavit in a new bottle. Four young singers from Sweden perform ABBA, nothing but ABBA. These teens look and sound better than their supergroup heroes; even the music is spruced up, thanks to a cast of savvy Swedish producers. The only disappointment on this delightful if unoriginal album is a flaccid ''The Name of the Game.'' But even ABBA had trouble with that one. B+
