Beauty may be in the eyes of its comely stars (who filmed this project the year before The Phantom Menace and Double Jeopardy made them household names), but looks don't take the overly inscrutable thriller Eye of the Beholder very far. A reclusive British surveillance expert known as the Eye (Ewan McGregor) finds a replacement for his estranged little girl in the object of his attention, a slinky murderess (Ashley Judd) in need of a responsive father figure.
