Seven years after Family Ties, Michael J. Fox returned to TV to play yet another hyperambitious know-it-all: deputy mayor of New York City in Spin City. The supporting players are quirky fun (like Friday Night Lights' Connie Britton as an acerbic staffer), but Fox commands the spotlight with his flair for physical comedy a somersault across a bed while disrobing in the pilot is almost Chaplinesque and 
unfailing ability to mine each line for optimum laughs. Which makes new interviews with the actor and cast in the EXTRAS bittersweet, as they discuss Fox's departure in 2000 due to his battle with Parkinson's disease. B
