Like a newbie at Hogwarts, filmmaker Josh Koury can't quite control his powers. This charm-filled documentary about passionate Harry Potter fans (and one foe) leaps all over the place. First he introduces stars of the mutant genre known as wizard rock, including the nerd-cool band Harry and the Potters. Then it's on to interviews with a Potter-centric graphic artist, a teenage girl who led a revolt against the Voldemortian corporate forces of copyright policing, and a lady who thinks being wild about Harry leads to devil worship. Koury doesn't make any points in We Are Wizards, particularly, but he stylishly shares the love. B+
