Wes Anderson's Bottle Rocket, a comic tale of wannabe criminals (played by the Wilsons and the since underused Robert Musgrave) still seems fresh, particularly compared with 2000's overly arch Darjeeling Limited. Criterion's two-disc EXTRAS-larded set boasts a laconic Owen and Wes commentary, and a making-of in which costar James Caan doesn't seem to be entirely joking when he describes Anderson as a ''sonofabitch'' for not calling him now that he's a ''big-time director.''
