Those who simply can't get enough of fat suits and FX-fashioned elves might hope to find some Christmas spirit in Fred Claus, a comedy starring Vaughn as St. Nick's rascally older brother. However, the EXTRAS — director David Dobkin's overeager commentary and 13 additional scenes (see more of Vaughn's rambling rants!) — will leave you with an empty feeling that contrasts the warm, brotherly love Vaughn and Giamatti find at movie's end. Leave this one out of your letter to Santa. C–
