But '97's ''mainstream''-friendly Brighten the Corners: Nicene Creedence Edition, now reissued with 32 extra tracks, is a trove of effortless pleasures, from the pogo-party frolic ''Stereo'' to the rickety, fuzzed-up gem ''Date w/ Ikea.''
