There are no great surprises in Live at San Quentin, and the songs all sound nearly alike, except for one new studio cut, a sentimental tune called "Peace to the World" that's dumber than the rest. Strangest moment: "How about a hand for the warden?" somebody asks-followed by notably unenthusiastic applause. C+
