FRONTRUNNERS: A true-to-school documentary about the political process of running for Student Union President

Already going through political-coverage withdrawal? In Frontrunners the high-stakes campaign for Student Union President at NYC's hyper-competitive Stuyvesant High School comes complete with a fierce bid for the student-paper endorsement and a dedicated teen pundit who comments from the sidelines. It's the blast of full-force gawkiness,  so recognizable from high school (and so rarely   allowed to remain intact in high school docs), that finally earns our vote. EXTRAS The since-graduated candidates provide surprisingly sober commentary on their slightly younger selves. B+
