With rampaging-dinosaur movies virtually extinct, it's a treat to see three vintage specimens unearthed simultaneously for video. But beware, enlightened viewers: What's truly prehistoric about these movies is their attitude toward women.
Victoria Vetri at least shows some backbone in the caveman epic When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth, by fleeing tribesmen who try to sacrifice her. But she gets no respect, not even from animator Jim Danforth's stunningly lifelike creatures: One frisky dino picks her up by the seat of her bikini. Well, visit the Stone Age and you've got to expect some Stone Age behavior. B-
