Wait a sec, they're killing off who?!
The end of the TV season is fast approaching, and that can only mean one
thing: Major characters are going to start dropping like flies! Here are
a few of the shows the Grim Reaper will be targeting:
Supernatural: Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) will say goodbye to someone close to them in April.
Lost: A major-ish character will join recent time-travel victim Charlotte
(Rebecca Mader) six feet under by season's end.
Big Love: Two deaths (one of 'em big) are coming in March.
The Sarah Connor Chronicles: A polarizing female will find herself terminated on March 6. And no, she will not be back.
Heroes: An original Hero to be retired, possibly for good.
Ugly Betty: They wouldn't kill Wilhelmina, would they?! Nope, it's someone else that's getting the hook.
Grey's Anatomy Watch
Although Grey's Anatomy boss Shonda Rhimes denies Katherine Heigl and
T.R. Knight are leaving, deafening buzz continues to suggest otherwise.
The latest rumor: Rhimes is mulling a bait and switch that would find
terminally ill Izzie living and George croaking. One thing I'm pretty
sure won't die anytime soon? This mess of a story.
ASK AUSIELLO
Q: You've gone weeks without giving us a new Bones scoop! Esther
A: I was saving up for something good something like...this: According to exec producer Hart Hanson, a series of attacks within the lab will cause ''dissension and suspicion'' among all of the main players by the end of
the season. Oh, and the Booth-Brennan sex thing in the May finale? Yep,
still happening!
Q: Any leads on who'll play a young Lily in the Gossip Girl spin-off? Tara
A: Casting for the role hasn't begun, but for my money, exec producers Josh
Schwartz and Stephanie Savage should just cut to the chase (or cut the
chase shorter, wink, wink) and hire American Dreams ingenue Brittany
Snow. Not only does she have ''young Kelly Rutherford'' plastered across
her forehead, but as she proved on her much-missed NBC drama, she has a
timeless quality. Plus, anything that keeps her away from Prom Night 2 has to be a good thing.
Q: Do we have to beg for some Big Bang Theory spoilers? Irrel
A: Sarah Connor Chronicles terminatrix Summer Glau will play herself in the March 9 episode, the setup of which already has me howling: A train trip
to San Francisco takes a major detour when Leonard and Co. discover that
the sci-fi goddess is on board. ''They have 11 hours to get up the
courage to talk to her,'' explains exec producer Bill Prady, ''and she's
sitting alone!''
