Talking animals on DVD -- ''Family Guy,'' ''Wishbone,'' and ''Mr. Ed'' are some of the TV shows on DVD that feature furry friends who speak to humans

Talking animals on DVD

Our five fave series on DVD starring talking animals

1. Lancelot Link: Secret Chimp
This '70s spy spoof is the place to go on DVD if you're looking for chimps in hats and a groovy all-monkey band named the Evolution Revolution.

2. Family Guy
Talk? Ha! The dog and the baby sing ''The Freakin' FCC'' on the volume 4 DVD — but it also has the ''Fat Guy Strangler'' episode, so beware.

3. Wishbone
Cute PBS kids' show you've never heard of about a book-loving dog. In ''Paw Prints of Thieves'' he becomes Robin Hood.

4. Mr. Ed
TV's original talking horse! (No, Francis was a mule and a movie star.)

5. Sabrina, the Teenage Witch
Yay, Salem! What? Do the words animatronic cat mean nothing to you?
