As the audience for modern African music grows in the U.S., the releases just keep coming. King of Soukous, from Paris-based Aurlus Mabele with Loketo, is further evidence that modern soukous bands are turning Zaire's lovely party music into disco for the '90s. Relentlessly danceable, completely heartless. C+
