ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: What theme night would you have loved to do?
JASMINE MURRAY: Well, I think a great thing for everyone would have been '80s night. I think it's so cool to look back on that style and everything.

What songs would you have done?
There are a lot of cool songs, like ''Girls Just Wanna Have Fun'' by Cyndi Lauper and ''I Wanna Dance With Somebody'' by Whitney Houston. Those are really cool '80s songs.

Who'd you bond with in the Top 13?
Um, I made friends with a lot of the people in the Top 13. We were all really close. It was really sad when I had to leave everybody. I really bonded with a lot of people there.

But who's your bestie? We want specifics!
Yeah, I mean, like we all chatted with each other. We all talked about the show afterward. We'd eat together. We lived together, so we were always together. Pretty much everybody.

Everybody but nobody?
Yeah.

You're in high school, and teenagers are usually busy with tons of activities. What are your other interests besides music? Are you a cheerleader? On the debate squad? Who is Jasmine?
Um, well, I actually go to an arts school, so most of my focus is on music. So that's mainly what I'm doing. I go to class from 7:45 to 5:15 every day, so it's mainly music classes. The five hours in between — until 10 o'clock — I'm doing homework and then I go to bed. I'm just studying all day and performing and learning everyday. Music is really important to me, and I really enjoyed learning about it and going to school there.

But, there's gotta be something out there that you love besides music. Romance novels? Dirt bikes? There's gotta be something!
I mean, you know, yeah. Yeah. I'm a teenager, so I like going out to the movies or hanging out with my friends. You know, typical teenage stuff.
