Putting the X chromosome in X-rated gangsta rap, Doggy's Angels prove as heavenly on the mic as the male members of their svengali Snoop Dogg's canine club. Over hard Cali funkadelica and smooth '70s grooves, this torrid trio regulates the occasional filler track and obvious, thugged-out subject matter with slamming lyrical flows. Holding their own against guest rhymers Layzie Bone, Tha Eastsidaz, and Snoop himself, Pleezbaleevit! will make you believe. B
