Anyone who lives and breathes theater will love A Class Act, a ''new'' musical by the late Edward Kleban. He wrote hundreds of songs, yet his one singular sensation (as lyricist) was A Chorus Line. A fraction of Kleban's oeuvre lush, thoughtful pieces that recall William Finn and young Stephen Sondheim turns up in this bio, coauthored and directed by Lonny Price (who also stars). He's backed by a top-drawer cast including Randy Graff and Carolee Carmello. It's a poignant tribute to a man and his music. B+
