Given that Fork in the Road was inspired by Young's alternative- energy-fueled car, the most appropriate description is probably ''pedestrian.'' Alas, many of the tracks — such as the plodding ''Fuel Line'' and ''Get Behind the Wheel'' — are not even that good. Neil fans would be better off idling in neutral until the June release of his long-awaited Archives Vol. 1. C
