Santana's former label continues to plumb his back catalog with The Best of Santana, Volume 2. Since both volumes cover his Columbia years (1969-90), there are some redundancies (like live recordings of ''Black Magic Woman'' and ''Europa,'' which were included on the first disc in studio versions). And a 1978 cover of ''Stormy'' is more like a drizzle. Still, fusion-era suites like ''Toussaint L'Overture'' rank among Carlos' finest work. B
