With vistas of '70s suburbia and a stampede of rock anthems, Sofia Coppola's fantasy The Virgin Suicides ought to win an MTV Video Music Award. If so, then we could get lost in the film's delicate daydream: the game of crush played between a joint-puffing stud (Josh Hartnett) and a renegade schoolgirl (Dunst). And we could forgive its underripe plot about five sisters who inexplicably kill themselves. B
