Based on Richard Yates' 1961 novel, this glimpse into the dark heart of '50s suburbia is a downer with pedigree and punch. Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio are note-perfect as a couple who barb and bicker about their conventional lives. Revolutionary Road deserved more Oscar love. EXTRAS Deleted scenes and an insightful commentary from director Sam Mendes. A–
