Grey Gardens, HBO's dramatic retelling of the Maysles brothers' classic documentary on Edith ''Big Edie'' Beale (Lange) and her equally eccentric daughter ''Little Edie'' (Barrymore) is standard biopic fare, and Lange never makes a false step. The revelation, though, is Barrymore, who nails an elusive accent and tricky mannerisms. No EXTRAS, but the meaty performances are enough. B+
