Joe Ely Live at Liberty Lunch (1990)

Details Lead Performance: Joe Ely

Imagine the vocal equivalent of a clenched fist. Joe Ely has always been too intense for the country-rock audience who might otherwise enjoy his clear, catchy melodies. Joe Ely Live at Liberty Lunch finds him more relaxed, but also repetitive and too prone to aimless mid-song guitar riffing. And you know something? He's really not a very good singer. C
