Neither particularly fast nor remarkably furious, Fast & Furious, the fourth installment in the homoerotic muscle-car saga brings back all of the original players for one more lap around the block (and, no doubt, a juicy paycheck, too). Chrome-domed action lug nut Vin Diesel plays a fancy-driving fugitive, Paul Walker is an FBI agent with attitude, and Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster tag along as dashboard eye candy. Between the nifty crash-and-burn set pieces, the film's dialogue is so clichéd, it's as if the writer used a copy of Action Movie Mad Libs. But there are a ton of EXTRAS on the two-disc special edition, including Los Bandoleros, an 18-minute short about the reteaming of Diesel's carjacking crew, written and directed by the star. Scorsese won't be losing any sleep. C-
