Anyone who thinks British ''dream-pop'' bands can't write decent tunes should get a load of these guys. They combine Pink Floyd's stately plod with Motorhead's guitar oomph and here neatly hook you 12 times in a row. One question: If Chrome is the future of rock, how come it all sounds like ''(Don't Fear) The Reaper''? B+
