Ex-rodeo rider Chris LeDoux puts the ''western'' back into country & western, especially on the swingy, infectious title cut and Joe Ely's raspy kicker, ''For Your Love.'' Under This Old Hat should be the breakthrough that Garth Brooks' idol has long deserved. B+
