In Boiling Point, Snipes plays a Treasury agent on the verge of burnout who goes after his partner's killer but has only a week before he's going to be transferred to another city. Hopper plays a recently released ex-con who must pay back a loan in — you guessed it — a week. All of which makes for a standard piece of action sleaze. Women, who show up as whores, smack addicts, and abuse victims, will definitely want to avoid this piece of misogynist trash. D
