WHY HE LOOKS FAMILIAR
The 34-year-old Brit is following up his turn in February's Confessions
of a Shopaholic with Adam, a less fairy-tale-ish take on love. Playing a
character with Asperger's was an enticing challenge — ''I knew absolutely
nothing about it,'' he admits — but what really appealed to him was ''the
universal story of two people and their attempt to connect. It's
bittersweet, with the emphasis on sweet.''
FALLING FOR CLAIRE DANES
Dancy met his fiancée on the set of the 2007 drama Evening, and is open
to working with her again. ''It's not something I would have a rule
about, one way or the other,'' he says.
WHAT'S NEXT
Coach, an indie directed by Will Frears (son of Stephen) that's seeking
U.S. distribution. As for a wedding date, ''that's still up in the air.''
