It's too bad the title Almost Famous was already taken, because this fantastic rock doc about a couple of aging Canadian metalheads still clinging to their golden-god dreams is both sadly tragic and oddly inspiring. When Anvil! The Story of Anvil came 
 out back in April, deluded frontman Steve ''Lips'' Kudlow and jackhammer drummer Robb Reiner were called a real-life Spi¨al Tap…which is spot-on. But that doesn't do their deep, dysfunctional love of thrash metal (and each 
 other) justice. EXTRAS include an appropriately silly commentary and deleted scenes of Anvil's other founding members that seem worthy 
 of having made the final cut. A
