EW's favorite new TV fashionistas -- Characters on ''Desperate Housewives,'' ''Kevin Hill,'' and ''Lost'' are among those who made a stylish debut this fall

Who cares which shows get canceled first? With the new fall TV season upon us, we just want to see what everybody's wearing. A first stab at the new season's most promising fashion victims.

1 DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES (ABC) Between single mom Teri Hatcher's sexed-up, sporty look and ex-model Eva Longoria's muy caliente ensembles, formerly Talbots-worshipping suburbia has never looked so happening.

2 THE APPRENTICE 2 (NBC) Have you seen bow-tie-lovin' Raj's fire-engine red pants? Not to mention his Colonel Sanders -- meets -- Wall Street suit and cane? Dapper Donald may mock Raj's accessories, but this suck-up trumps the competition.

3 SECOND TIME AROUND (UPN) Props to free-spirited Ryan Muse (Nicole Parker), who boldly goes where most people won't: Ryan, who is unconventional enough to remarry her ex-husband, is also the only one who could pull off a fishnet skirt.

4 LOST (ABC) You'd think that being stranded on a desert isle with the same dingy drawers would cramp your style. Au contraire. Despite the bugs, the dirt, and what appears to be the Abominable Snowman (yeah, we don't get it either), Matthew Fox is sultry perfection in his basic black suit and white tee.

5 KEVIN HILL (UPN) Yes, the multicolored striped button-downs, custom suits, and couture tees are fabulous. But Taye Diggs could be butt-naked and still land on our best-dressed list.
