TRICK 'R TREAT Forget vampires, Anna Paquin is just trying to avoid the Big Bad Wolf

Horror anthologies like 1982’s Creepshow are hit-or-miss propositions. The four-chapter, Halloween-themed Trick 'r Treat was produced by X-Men maestro Bryan Singer and has a few good scares. But it isn't sure whether it wants to go for laughs or goosebumps. True Blood’s Anna Paquin stands out as a virgin who isn’t as pure as she seems. An animated short is the only EXTRA. B-
