Something strange is happening to the residents of a small Iowa town. In this remake of the 1973 original, a mysterious toxin has polluted the town's water, affecting residents and making them go insane. As everyone around him seems to be going crazy or dying, one man (Timothy Olyphant), his wife (Radha Mitchell), and family attempt to survive the chaos and find out just what's in the water.
