In Up in the Air, Clooney and Farmiga flirt while racking up frequent-flier miles in a romantic comedy for our Age of Corporate Downsizing. Both soar (as does Oscar nominee Anna Kendrick as a chipper ax-woman). If only the ending weren't so...up in the air.
