The former country star's first set of new material in eight years probably won't return her to the Nashville A list, but it does present a sober-eyed look at a life full of drama. ''I'm a little bit hard to handle,'' she boasts in the honky-tonk rave-up ''I Want a Man,'' while the hushed ''Wrong Again'' finds her insisting "I've come to terms, I've made amends." Believe it or not, she's more convincing on the latter. B
