Times have been tough for these wisecracking Canucks; they've weathered the departure of cofounding member Steven Page, the death of singer Ed Robertson's mom, even a private-plane crash. Beyond some pensive, Coldplay-style ballads, though, All in Good Time retains the Ladies' goofy charm. ''How do we not cave in?'' Robertson wonders in ''Summertime.'' The answer just might be lightweight soul-rock jams like these. B
