Long ''Live'' 'True Blood's Vampire King of Mississippi

Denis O'Hare will reprise his role as Russell Edgington for the show's fifth season

Actor Denis O'Hare confirms what the season 4 finale of HBO's True Blood teased during its final few minutes: His polarizing character Russell Edgington, the vampire King of Mississippi, is indeed undead (and no longer buried under silver, as we last saw him in season 3). EW caught up with O'Hare as he was shooting another spooky role, burn victim Larry, on the set of FX's American Horror Story (debuting Oct. 5). What's coming with O'Hare's True Blood return in season 5? ''I've heard a couple of things,'' he says. ''None, of course, I can tell you, but what I've heard is fantastic.'' O'Hare did drop one delightful bomb: ''The people who busted [Edgington] out are nobody you would expect.''
