The Eye has it. CBS scored a handy ratings win last week, averaging 15 million viewers over the seven days. The network was bolstered by the strong performances of two versions of CSI, along with Cold Case and the Sunday night debut of the disaster miniseries Category 6: Day of Destruction.
ABC, meanwhile, was not helped by its broadcast of the American Music Awards on Sunday night in place of Desperate Housewives -- it scored fewer viewers than the drama usually does. But Court TV was a winner last week, scoring its largest audience ever -- 2.7 million people -- for the verdict in the Scott Peterson trial, according to the Associated Press. Meanwhile, Fox's struggling Arrested Development kept 7.5 million of the 11.5 million viewers of its lead-in, The Simpsons, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
