After his wife is viciously assaulted, Will Gerard (Nicholas Cage) is approached by an unidentified man claiming to represent a group that has the resources to retaliate against his wife's attacker. Will agrees, only to learn the organization is more dangerous than he realized, and plans to rope him into their nefarious schemes.
