A French take on American cops-and-chases movies, Point Blank, a hurtling thriller directed by former fashion photographer Fred Cavayé is jammed with stylish sensibility and missing sense. Mostly it's an audience-goosing run around Paris, as an innocent guy (Gilles Lellouche) is forced to help a seemingly guilty guy (Roschdy Zem) slip the cops if the first guy wants to see his pregnant wife again. Putting the unborn child at risk is a nasty touch. B
