A few weeks after celebrating his 85th birthday, veteran crooner Tony Bennett hit another milestone. ''Body and Soul,'' his tag-team effort with Amy Winehouse that appears on his just-released Duets II, entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 87, officially making Bennett the oldest artist ever to find a place on that list. In fact, the appearance of ''Body and Soul'' on the Hot 100 (which is based on a complicated formula involving digital downloads, physical sales, and radio airplay) wound up snagging Bennett a handful of unusual records. The 44 years since his last chart appearance is the longest ever for a solo artist, and the time between his first and last appearances is now the greatest ever, thanks to the boon of having been on the very first Hot 100, published in 1958. ''To have that happen at 85 is wonderful,'' Bennett recently told EW about the attention he's receiving for Duets II. ''When you're young and this happens, you can get into a lot of trouble, because it happens too fast.''
