This Norwegian thriller has a winning cutthroat perversity. It puts you in the shoes of a very smooth criminal a corporate headhunter who moonlights as an art thief. He's played by Aksel Hennie, who's like a cuter Steve Buscemi with a touch of Peter Lorre. Hennie's slightly freakish pop-eyed charm makes him perfect as a born liar, and for a while the movie is devious fun. But once a rival scoundrel (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, from Game of Thrones) cuts in, the tale grows increasingly over-the-top. B
