Katy Perry's Duet Strikes a Chord

Jodi DiPiazza, who was one of the children honored at the Night of Too Many Stars benefit, performed a rendition of Katy Perry's ''Firework'' alongside her idol

With Tina Fey, Louis C.K., Amy Poehler, and Jon Stewart in the same room, you're bound to get a few memorable moments. But the biggest star to emerge from Comedy Central's annual benefit Night of Too Many Stars — held on Oct. 13 this year, the show raises funds for school programs geared toward autistic children — was talented newcomer Jodi DiPiazza, who, fittingly, was one of the kids being supported that night. (The 11-year-old was diagnosed with autism as a toddler.) DiPiazza played the piano and sang a moving rendition of Katy Perry's smash ''Firework'' alongside the pop star herself.

''Right after the performance I said, 'We did great!''' DiPiazza tells EW. ''Katy said, 'I think lots of people will be talking about this!''' Perry got that right. The video of their performance was an immediate hit on YouTube, racking up nearly 4 million views in its first four days, and gained even more traction after the event was televised on Comedy Central Oct. 21. ''Jodi is my firework,'' Perry tweeted after the event. A firework that caused a whole lot of waterworks.
