The president is facing a security threat, and it's coming from within the White House! Meet Skip (Josh Gad), the sweet-hearted goofus whose attempts to please his dad, President Gilchrist (Bill Pullman), result in FEMA-level disasters. Meanwhile, newish stepmom Emily (Jenna Elfman) is trying to curry favor with Skip's siblings, including his good-girl sister Becca (Martha MacIsaac), who just found out she's pregnant. ''What's it like when the mother and father go into a student-teacher conference but they happen to be the president and First Lady?'' says Gad, who co-created the family comedy. ''Then you throw in this bull in a china shop that is Skip.'' ''Yesterday I slept in a baby crib, beat the hell out of myself à la Edward Norton in Fight Club, fell off a chair, and did an homage to Flashdance where I subsequently thought I was going to vomit all over the grips,'' he shares. ''That's a day in the life of Josh Gad.''
