Reviews of new songs from Lorde, Britney Spears, and Robin Thicke

Lorde, ''Team''
The precocious New Zealander continues the lyrical themes of her chart-topping "Royals" — draping her husky coo over thump-and-hum percussion and offering more sly rejections of pop-star excess ("I'm kind of over getting told to throw my hands up in the air/So there"). Teenage angst has never sounded so dreamy. A Kyle Anderson

Britney Spears, ''Perfume''
With its pulse-point beat and "mark my territory" rhetoric, the second single off Britney Jean, due in December, cuts the "Work Bitch" camp in favor of a deliciously sinister tale of romantic desperation. Britney's gentle insistence will give you the shivers. B+Nick Catucci

Robin Thicke, ''Feel Good''
"Does it feel good? Does it feel good?" Thicke asks repeatedly on his second post-- "Blurred Lines" single, a faceless disco tune built more for holiday shopping at the Gap than for the radio. The short answer to his question is "No." That's also the long answer. CRay Rahman
