About Last Night
In the remake of the 1986 bar-to-the-bedroom romantic comedy based on a David Mamet play, two best friends (Michael Ealy and Kevin Hart) navigate the highs and lows of new love (with Parenthood's Joy Bryant in the Demi Moore role). Wary of remakes? "For people who say, 'Oh my God, not another one!' we bring a level of originality that's refreshing," Hart promises. "This isn't just a female film. It's told from a male point of view, which is so different for these types of movies." Karen Valby
Paul Verhoeven's 1987 RoboCop the story of a newly deceased cop who's turned into a law-enforcement machine by a sinister corporation is a sci-fi classic. But new star Joel Kinnaman (The Killing) says the remake delves even deeper into the man inside the metal suit. "It was important to me that the visor not cover my face all the time," he says, joking, "It's hard to act with just your jaw." Josh Rottenberg
