Cho's debut, praised by Palookaville author Seth, arrives with great expectations. So it's surprising that the story is fairly lightweight: Aspiring writer (and shoplifter) Corinna feels stuck in her advertising job and wants to rediscover her creativity. But Cho's illustrations are the real draw, with dense, rose-tinted cityscapes that perfectly convey the loneliness of urban life. It's a notable debut for fans of Optic Nerve-style comics and postcollegiate angst. B+
